The Colorado State University Extension and New Mexico State University are sponsoring a specialty-crop symposium on March 10 at the Lewis-Arriola Community Center, 21176 Road S, in Cortez.
The event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Among topics to be discussed are pest management, herbicide carryover, use of mushrooms for soil remediation, food safety, specialty-berry production and growing grain fodder for livestock.
