Tourism Summit registration open

Event will be held April 9-10
Engineer Bill Colley, a longtime Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad employee, talks about his experiences working for the railroad. The railroad is one of Durango’s top tourism draws.

Registration is open for the Southwest Tourism Summit, taking place April 9-10.

Al White, director of the Colorado Tourism Office, will be the featured guest speaker and will present information on state tourism programs and initiatives.

The summit is a day-and-a-half of presentations, workshops and seminars focused on how local, state and regional tourism associations can work together.

Sessions will focus on agritourism, destination marketing, attracting visitors through your website and other topics.

Events will be held at several venues in downtown Durango. Registration is $84, and is open at www.swtourismsummit.com online.
