Letter-writer doth protest too much

America is truly a great country. Even the ignorant, or those with an agenda, can make their voices heard.

For example, in the March 24 Herald, a letter full of inaccuracies from Tom Wright, of Aztec, once again slams Israel. He even equates Israel with the Islamic barbarians called ISIL. This is so far-fetched that it brings to mind a line from Hamlet by Shakespeare: “the lady doth protest too much.” This phrase is now often used when a person’s overly frequent or vehement repeat attempts to convince others of something often means that the opposite is true.
