Service Desk Assistant: Works the Ignacio Community Library Service Desk,
provides customer service, issues library cards, answers phones, checks
materials in and out; accepts payments for fines and fees, assists
patrons in faxing, copier, printing, public Internet use; re-shelves
materials; helps with programs-setting up and taking down; schedules use
of meeting rooms; attends staff meetings. Opens and closes the library
according to procedures; participates in program planning and
execution. Applicant must be able to work evenings and Saturdays. BA
preferred, computer skills required. Previous library experience and a
commitment to library service desired. Part time 24 hrs/wk to start.
