    Bayfield Middle School goes 3-0 with a title

    The future looks bright for the Bayfield High School boys basketball team.

    Bayfield Middle School sent a team of seventh and eighth graders to a tournament Saturday in Colorado Springs, and Hayden Farmer, Turner Kennedy, Matt McSweeney, Chance O’Connell, Keegan Owens and Keyon Prior went 3-0 in the seventh/eighth-grade division.

    They beat the Team Chrome seventh-grade club 49-22 in their opener, led by 16 points from Kennedy.
