Barack Obama to return to Colorado on Saturday

Article Last Updated; Thursday, October 30, 2008  7:43AM
PUEBLO - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama will campaign in Pueblo on Saturday, his second visit to Colorado in six days.

Obama's campaign announced the visit Wednesday. The time and venue haven't been disclosed.

On Sunday, Obama drew an estimated 100,000 people to a rally in Denver and 45,000 to a rally in Fort Collins.

Both campaigns have fought hard for the state's nine electoral votes. Republican John McCain, his running mate Sarah Palin and Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden all campaigned in the state last week.

Colorado has been considered up for grabs, but an Associated Press-GfK poll released Wednesday shows Obama leading McCain by 50 percent to 41 percent among likely Colorado voters.
