8:40 a.m. A neighbor was refusing to return a man's mule in the 500 block of County Road 331, in the southeast corner of La Plata County.

4:36 p.m. A goat was left in a chute with no water at the La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.

12:16 a.m. People were talking loudly in an alley in the 100 block of East Sixth Avenue.

12:38 a.m. Three men and one woman pulled a manhole cover up in the 600 block of East Fourth Avenue.

3:39 a.m. Someone was trying to get into a woman's home in the 1400 block of East Second Avenue.

5:17 a.m. Someone tried to break into a business and take cash in the 2400 block of Main Avenue.

6:17 a.m. A business was broken into overnight in the west 100 block of 14th Street.

2:07 p.m. Someone was threatening to burn down a woman's house, according to a report made from the Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Avenue.

6:47 p.m. A man who escaped from Hilltop House Community Corrections was calling a woman in the 1000 block of Avenida del Sol.

10:44 p.m. People on a balcony were being loud in the 500 block of East Fifth Avenue.

La Plata County Sheriff
Tuesday
1:21 p.m. Someone wanted to talk to a deputy about cars and appliances being dumped for several months near county roads 234 and 240, northeast of Durango. A deputy responded and determined the garbage was on private property for the fire department.

5:51 p.m. An irate customer was making threats at the United ticket counter at the La Plata County Airport.

6:45 p.m. Housekeepers were bringing children to work every day and making them help at Silverpick, 48475 U.S. Highway 550, near Durango Mountain Resort.

10:07 p.m. Drivers were speeding in the 3600 block of County Road 203, north of Durango.

7:48 a.m. A motorcycle ran off the road in the 35000 block of U.S. Highway 160, between Elmore's Corner and Gem Village.

9:09 p.m. Someone had questions about firework laws in the 800 block of E. Sage Street.

11:35 a.m. A trailer was on fire in the 1200 block of Carbon Junction.
