9:28 a.m. There was a dead coyote by the side of the road in the 9900 block of Colorado Highway 140.

10:24 a.m. There was a dead German shepherd by the side of road in the 28000 block of U.S. Highway 160, in the Grandview area.

11:11 a.m. There was a dead Doberman under a trailer in the 4400 block of U.S. Highway 550, south of Durango.

9:28 a.m. A business sign had been knocked over for the third time in a month in the 900 block of Main Avenue.

12:26 p.m. Three men were spotted on a bench, throwing trash and spitting on the sidewalk in the east 100 block of College Drive. They were seen doing the same thing the day before.

3:05 p.m. A shirtless, drunken man was yelling at pedestrians in the east 100 block of College Drive.

3:31 p.m. A vicious German shepherd was outside the front door of the Durango Friends meeting hall in the 700 block of County Road 233.

3:31 a.m. A man at Mercy Regional Medical Center was being uncooperative and abusive to staff in the 1000 block of Three Springs Boulevard.

8:36 a.m. A man complained that his neighbors were leaving trash outside and bears were spreading it around his property overnight in the 2000 block of County Road 203.

2:45 p.m. A man attempted to pass a bad check at the Durango-La Plata County Airport in the 1000 block of Airport Road.

Thursday
8:20 p.m. Two juveniles wearing baggy jeans and yellow bandanas were pointing at buildings in a suspicious manner on East Sixth Avenue.

9:05 p.m. The driver of a green Chevrolet van pulled over, let two children out, made them walk about a half mile and let them back in the vehicle near the 200 block of County Road 527, east of Bayfield.

6:23 p.m. A driver in a tan Jeep Cherokee was spinning out in Stevenson Park in an exhibition of speed with children and animals nearby.

7:13 p.m. An infant was left in a car while its parent went into a liquor store in the 400 block of East Colorado Drive.
