Animal Control

Wednesday

10:26 a.m. Someone was bitten by a dog somewhere on County Road 302, southeast of Pastorius Reservoir.

Tuesday

6:10 p.m. Two horses were inside a trailer all day in the 1300 block of South Camino del Rio.

Durango Police

Wednesday

10:46 a.m. Someone was caught on tape attempting to steal beer in the 100 block of Jenkins Ranch Road.

11:03 a.m. A drunken man was bothering customers in front of a laundry room in the 1100 block of Camino del Rio.

12:26 p.m. Two bikes chained together were tossed in front of a Dumpster in the 1200 block of Main Avenue.

Tuesday

4:12 p.m. Several people attempted to pull someone out of a car in the 2700 block of Main Avenue. The victim didn’t want to press charges.

5:09 p.m. Someone was outside the police station, 990 East Second Avenue, and wanted an officer to take possession of a small bag of marijuana he found.

6:47 p.m. A frequent problem with graffiti appearing in a men’s bathroom at the Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave., has resumed.

Wednesday

7:41 a.m. Someone stole a woman’s 2007 Yamaha in the 3900 block of Florida Road (County Road 240).

8:35 a.m. A neighbor was throwing trash into a man’s yard in the 500 block of Eagle Pass in Edgemont Ranch.

Tuesday

5:33 p.m. A man and woman were causing a disturbance in the 500 block of Junction Creek Road (County Road 204).

6:44 p.m. A man found a large elk in the back of a truck on his property, and when he approached the truck, several people took off in the 4300 block of Lightner Creek Road (County Road 207).

8:37 p.m. There was a strong smell of gas near Chapman Hill in the 500 block of Florida Road.

Fort Lewis College

Tuesday

11:49 p.m. A driver in a black Subaru kept spinning doughnuts in a parking lot behind the Mears Apartments.
