3:59 p.m. A woman hit a cat while driving in the 1300 block of County Road 501, near Bayfield.

Wednesday

4:11 p.m. A gas-well truck hit a German shepherd in the 2000 block of Colorado Highway 172, south of Elmore’s Corner.

Durango Police

Thursday

12:40 a.m A disturbance was reported between three women and a man near Eighth Street and East Eighth Avenue.

7:08 a.m. A man found a bike wedged under his truck in the 1000 block of Goeglein Gulch Road.

11:43 a.m. A guitar was stolen about three days ago in the 100 block of East Sixth Avenue.

12:35 p.m. Two men were arguing on Tanglewood Drive.

Wednesday

4:11 p.m. A man’s car was hit while parked in the 800 block of Main Avenue.

5 p.m. Items were stolen from a home last week in the 600 block of Arroyo Drive.

5:20 p.m. A man passed out in the deli at south City Market, 6 Town Plaza.

5:37 p.m. Three boys were skateboarding on a blind corner near Lewis Mountain Drive and Hillcrest Drive.

11:58 p.m. A man and woman urinated on a front door in the 800 block of Main Avenue.

La Plata County Sheriff

Thursday

2:47 p.m. A single-car rollover was reported in the 30000 block of U.S. Highway 550, near Hermosa. The driver was conscious and breathing.

Wednesday

7:07 p.m. Hunters were shooting unsafely across a field toward a home in the 2700 block of County Road 334, northeast of Ignacio.

8:15 p.m. A home was broken into in the 6200 block of County Road 116, west of Breen.

Thursday

12:55 p.m. Someone took a piece of heavy-lift equipment, and there was possibly going to be a confrontation near County Road 501 and Dove Ranch Road.

2:59 p.m. Someone found some “paperwork” in the 500 block of Hickory Ridge Road.

Wednesday

9:36 p.m. A smell of natural gas was reported in Animas Hall.
