Thursday

8:06 a.m.A man was bitten by a cat on Stewart Street.

Wednesday

9:38 p.m.A driver hit a dog on her way home, and the dog was still alive on the side of the road near Horizon Drive.

Durango Police

Thursday

2:20 a.m.A man and woman were drunk and banging on a back door at the Holiday Inn, 801 Camino del Rio.

2:21 p.m.A woman was following another woman in the west 200 block of College Drive.

3:34 p.m.A driver in a black sedan ran a stop sign, and someone confronted the driver near San Juan Drive and Delwood Avenue. The driver yelled abusively.

3:50 p.m.A driver in a silver Ford truck hit another vehicle without stopping in front of Durango City Hall in the 900 block of East Second Avenue.

3:57 p.m.A driver in a Jeep Wrangler drove excessively close to a bicyclist near 12th Street and East Third Avenue.

Wednesday

5:22 p.m.A drunken man was caught shoplifting at north City Market, 3130 Main Ave. He also possessed marijuana.

10:32 p.m.Loud music was playing in the 2500 block of Columbine Drive. Police responded and found people chopping wood.

Thursday

10:24 a.m.Three men in a vehicle with New Mexico license plates stole a woman's blue mountain bike with a pink water bottle holder.

2:35 p.m.Neighbors trespassed on someone's property and damaged a fence in the 600 block of Deer Trail in Rafter J subdivision.

Wednesday

9:29 p.m.A man and woman were fighting in the Lightner Creek Mobile Home Park, 907 County Road 207.

11:54 p.m.Someone heard 20 or 30 gunshots within an hour on Tamara Lane, north of Bayfield.

Upper Pine Fire

Wednesday

4:36 p.m.A brush fire 20 feet in radius was reported in the 45000 block of U.S. Highway 160, east of Bayfield.
