8:41 a.m.An aggressive pit bull pinned a woman in a vehicle in the 8900 block of U.S. Highway 550.
9:25 a.m.Cows were in the road in the 7000 block of County Road 105, in the western part of La Plata County.
Saturday
4:44 p.m.A dog was walking along a fence near the fairgrounds. It was later determined to be on its owner's property.

5:01 a.m.A bag containing a white substance was found in the 600 block of Camino del Rio.
7:12 a.m.A man and woman were fighting in the 1100 block of Carbon Junction.
9:39 a.m.A burglary occurred in the 400 block of Florida Road.
12:22 p.m.An intoxicated man almost fell into traffic near east 19th Street and Main Avenue.

4:31 p.m.A caller reported being at a car dealership to get repairs and having been stranded about a week.
5:36 p.m.A driver hit a parked truck and fled near East Second Avenue and east 32nd Street.
5:49 p.m.A caller smelled marijuana behind a business in the 2900 block of Main Avenue.
6:58 p.m.A caller reported hearing a man being assaulted in the 20200 block of west U.S. Highway 160.
8:35 p.m.A caller in the east 800 block of Third Street wanted several people removed from his residence.
11:20 p.m.Two men were fighting in the 400 block of East Second Avenue.
11:41 p.m.Dogs were barking in a pen in the front yard of a home in the east 200 block of 36th Street.
11:59 p.m.A man assaulted a woman near Main Avenue and west 12th Street.

2:23 p.m.A man had two rounds of ammunition at airport security.
3:49 p.m.An motorcycle accident occurred at county roads 213 and 214, south of the Animas Air Park.
Saturday
5:42 p.m.A caller reported shots fired from a truck in the 200 block of County Road 510, north of Oxford. The vehicle was later determined to be backfiring.
6:46 p.m.Three horses were on the road in the 3800 block of County Road 516, south of Bayfield.
