12:06 a.m.A driver in a red Toyota Tacoma almost ran someone down at Main Avenue and Eighth Street.

12:10 a.m.A man who was hard to understand said people wouldn't leave his room at an apartment building in the 5800 block of Main Avenue.

12:13 a.m.An intoxicated man was waving his arms around in the east 500 block of College Drive.

8:08 a.m.A car was broken into in the 2700 block of New Mexico Avenue.

9:54 a.m.An officer was requested to be present when a person tried to repossess a car on which payments haven't been made. The owner had the title to the vehicle.

11:31 a.m.An observer said drivers of two vehicles at 12th Street and Main Avenue who were acting suspiciously could be involved in a drug deal.

2:33 p.m. A caller alleged that the driver of a turquoise-green Suzuki that parks in the employee lot in the 400 block of Main Avenue doesn't have a driver's license or insurance.

5:21 p.m.A driver was cited for having an invalid license in the 100 block of East Eighth Avenue.

6:20 p.m.Items were stolen from a Jeep Cherokee parked in front of a department store in the 800 block of South Camino del Rio.

7:38 p.m. A mother and a child were screaming at each other in the 800 block of Goeglein Gulch Road, but it turned out to be nothing serious.

8:17 p.m.Police helped take a combative man in the 1100 block of Three Springs Boulevard to Detox.

11:27 p.m.A blue Pontiac parked for about 15 minutes in front of the Hillcrest recreation center in the 1100 block of Goeglein Gulch Road aroused suspicion.

11:30 p.m.A man was testing car doors in the 2900 block of East Fifth Avenue.

3:25 a.m.A woman in the 21000 block of U.S. Highway 160 was crying for unknown reasons.

10:01 a.m. A woman in the 1500 block of Florida Road (County Road 240) said she has received phone calls from an anonymous source every 20 minutes since 8 p.m. Sunday.

6:14 p.m.An elk hunter's late return from an outing north of Lemon Reservoir mobilized deputies and search-and-rescue personnel. The hunter was reunited with two companions without incident.
