Mary Shakespeare Stevens
Stevens
Mrs. Stevens was born to Donald and Verna (Mueller) Shakespeare in Monte Vista on May 18, 1928.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Mrs. Stevens enjoyed quilting and playing bridge and Pitch.
Mrs. Stev-ens was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Ernest R. Stevens; and son, Richard S. Stevens.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa L. Woolery, of Dolores; sister, Martha Walker, of Lakewood; one grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 10, 2008, at the Cortez Cemetery. The Rev. Al Strauss will officiate.
