Morley had a way of making people feel good about themselves. She smiled at me with the marvelous smile of hers. She always made me feel needed.
She loved it when I read a book to her. Knowing her to be highly educated, I was afraid to read to her the first time. English is my third language, but that didn’t matter to her. She helped me have confidence in myself. She lovingly corrected my mistakes so I could pronounce words correctly. She thanked me for every little thing I did for her. Most of all, she was one of the most positive people I have ever met in my life. I never heard her say anything bad about anybody. She always found the best things to say about people.
I was privileged to be one of her old friends and her personal nurse. She will be greatly missed.
