Why blame executives, not politicians?

Letter to the editor

Let me get this right. People are mad that executives at public companies are getting paid too much. People want our elected officials to limit the amount executives are paid. That is, executives of companies that received taxpayer money to avoid financial disaster. People are mad because these executives apparently were fiscally irresponsible. Hey, makes some sense.

Only, the people aren't mad about our elected officials who are fiscally irresponsible all the time and spend most of their time raising money to get re-elected so they can become more fiscally irresponsible. Makes sense.

Wake up, America.
