Brown and Foreman are the Durango Demons’ lone representatives at this year’s state meet, which was postponed a week because of 18 inches of snow on the course last Saturday. Brown is a senior, while Foreman is just a sophomore. The Bayfield High School cross country team, featuring Class 3A senior standout Derek Laue, also will compete at this weekend’s state meet. BHS qualified both their boys and girls cross country teams. Durango is coached by Mark Dutro, while Bayfield is coached by Pat Vaughn.
