1:44 a.m. A woman was screaming that she was assaulted at an apartment complex in the 1300 block of Florida Road.


7:42 a.m. A dog was in the road causing a hazard in the 200 block of East Ninth Street.

11:35 a.m. Homeless people were camping in an alley in the 600 block of Main Avenue.

1:30 p.m. A man vandalized property at Town Plaza Coin Laundry, 36 Town Plaza.

3:07 p.m. Two dogs were running in the road at Mesa Avenue and Riverview Drive.

3:44 p.m. A man was stumbling around in the 600 block of East Fifth Avenue.

4:32 p.m. A man was talking to himself and rocking back and forth near Taco Bell, 2902 Main Ave.

4:45 p.m. A homeless person was having a barbecue at the off-leash dog park, 21850 U.S. Highway 160.

5:12 p.m. Someone shoplifted from south City Market, 6 Town Plaza. Police made an arrest.

7:42 p.m. A man stole a bag of chips from Subway, 1145 Camino del Rio. Police issued a verbal warning.

8:17 p.m. A man and woman were fighting in a room at Travelodge Hotel, 2970 Main Ave. Police made an arrest.

10:18 p.m. An intoxicated man was trying to give drinks to underage people at a business in the 100 block of College Drive.

Durango Fire

Firefighters and medics responded to 11 calls Thursday, including two structure fires, two falls and an automatic fire alarm.
