50 years ago: A logging truck went off Florida Road, 14 miles north of Bayfield, and the driver was reportedly unhurt, according to Colorado State Patrol.

25 years ago: According to a report made to Durango Police Department, a professor at Fort Lewis College posted a flyer in Hesperus Hall with information about how to bomb the accounting department.
