Firefighters and medics responded to 42 calls Friday through Sunday, including five people who fell, five fire alarms, three reports of smoke outside, two brush fires, two reports of trees on fire, an assault, a case of animal bites or attack and a stroke. On Monday, firefighters responded to four reports of overdoses or poisonings, two reports of unconscious people, a brush fire and a traffic accident.
