50 years ago: “Vanadium Corporation of America’s Durango uranium milling plant and its concentrator plant at Naturita will be closed soon after March 1. ... Affected by the shutdown will be about 150 employes in Durango, and about 35 at Naturita. The mill and concentrator were being closed because of continued high cost and unprofitable operations.”

25 years ago: “The planned expansion of Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory’s Bodo Park production facility won’t immediately add any new jobs. The expansion’s main purpose is to improve production flow and space to allow increased production.”
