In Tuesday's vote deciding four of the six seats on the Bayfield Town Board, three of the seats were won by
Trustees Tom Au, Gabe Candelaria and Debbi Renfro were each re-elected to serve another term.
The fourth seat was won by Monty McMinn. McMinn will replace Brandon Luter, who was not seeking re-election.
Voters were allowed to select four of the seven candidates on the ballot. The top three candidates would be elected
for four-year terms while the fourth-place candidate would receive a two-year term.
Au and Candelaria were the top two recipients of votes, receiving 79 and 78 votes respectively.
McMinn and Renfro tied, with each candidate receiving 71 votes.
Because of the tie, it is unclear which candidate will serve for two years and which will serve for four years.

time) it will be some random drawing like that."
Out of 1,173 registered voters in Bayfield, 133 cast ballots in this election.
It's really difficult getting people to participate in April elections," Jones said.
The candidates who did not win seats were Ed Morlan with 66 votes, Phillip Abbot with 49 votes, David Black with 44
votes and an unknown write-in candidate who received one vote.
