Unsettled weather is expected to continue through the week in the Four Corners, with occasional rain in the valleys and possible snow at higher elevations, according to the National Weather Service.
No significant accumlations are expected, and impacts to travel on mountain passes should be minimal, the weather service said. The best chance for precipitation in the region is Thursday and Friday.
Wednesday offers the best chance for sunshine and warmer temperatures in Durango, with a forecast high of 57 degrees under partly sunny skies. The rest of the week is likely to be cloudy with daytime highs in the low 50s. Nighttime temperatures are expected to hover around the freezing point.
