The charm of a simpler life in Southwest Colorado, led us to relocate to Durango two years ago. We were thrilled to find exceptional educational opportunities to choose from. Our daughters are in the project based charter schools, Mountain Middle School and Animas High School. We are grateful for the work and efforts of committed teachers, administration, parents, students and community members who continually ask the question, how can we better serve our students?
Electives are key to keeping students engaged and excited about learning as well as having input in their school day. Animas High School is broadening its elective offerings and still ensuring college accessibility for all students. Check out the Durango Herald story for more detail on this exciting change happening! http://bit.ly/1SSbK0w.
