Durango High School seeks donations to Demon CaresThe Durango High School counseling department is seeking donations to its Demon Cares Closet, which serves students in need by providing school supplies, clothing and personal care items.
Community members may donate new or lightly used clothing, including professional attire for job interviews, formal attire for prom, new school supplies and new toiletries.
Donations should be brought to the DHS counseling department.

Seed Studio invites kids to ‘Falling into Art’ classSeed Studio will celebrate autumn’s arrival with its “Falling into Art” workshop from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday at the Smiley Building, Room 114, 1309 East Third Ave.
The day will include yoga/meditation, exploratory outside play and creating a piece of art to take home.
The class is limited to 10 students for a more intimate learning experience. The fee is $80, and the workshop is intended for children ages 6 to 12.

College planning meeting set for DHS on WednesdayDurango High School will host a senior college planning meeting from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the library.
