Neighbors: Unitarians celebrate full-time pastor

The Rev. Katie Kandarian-Morris can’t wait to use her personalized parking place sign at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Durango. The gift was part of a service installing her as the first full-time pastor of the more than 50-year-old congregation at the end of September.
The Rev. Katie Kandarian-Morris blesses the congregation at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Durango after she is installed as the fellowship’s first full-time pastor in the fellowship‘s almost 50-year history.
Lisa Bourey of Passion Flower Bouquet Farm provided the blooms, and members of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Durango provided pitchers from their collections for the installation of the Rev. Katie Kandarian-Morris as the fellowship’s first full-time minister. The pitchers reflect a poem used during the installation.
