Several hundred demonstrators lined Main Avenue in Durango on Sunday protesting the election of Donald Trump to the presidency.
An impassioned crowd bottlenecked Main Avenue between 12th and 17th streets, voicing anger, frustration and a call for unity after one of the most contentious presidential elections in recent memory.
Marissa Anderson, a protest organizer, said Trump’s repeated attacks on minorities and women have pushed the country toward a more divisive place, and she’s concerned what four more years will do. Several hundred people in Durango protested the election of Donald Trump to the presidency on Sunday.
