Swap preferred option in Wolf Creek study

The U.S. Forest Service is considering three options for the proposed resort atop Wolf Creek Pass:
Do nothing.
Trade 204 acres of forest land next to U.S. Highway 160 for 178 acres of private land below Wolf Creek Ski Area.
Approve a road to the existing private land below Wolf Creek Ski Area.
What’s next
The Forest Service will accept public comments for 45 days, in writing and at three meetings next week:
Tuesday, 5:30-7:30 p.m., Creede Community Center, Forest Service Road 503.
Wednesday, 5:30-7:30 p.m., Aragon Recreation Center, 451 Hot Springs Blvd., Pagosa Springs.
Thursday, 5:30-7:30 p.m., Rio Grande County Annex, 965 6th St., Del Norte.
