6 Bighorn sheep euthanized this summer

This summer, Colorado Parks and Wildlife was forced to kill six bighorn sheep because they came into contact with domestic sheep in the San Juan Mountains. In the previous five years, the agency had to kill only one wild sheep. Contact with domestic sheep can spread a pneumonia-like illness among the wild sheep.
