What do the nation's largest abortion business and the American Cancer Society have in common? Apparently, more than most people would think, becuase the anti-smoking giant awarded the abortion-services provider a large grant to tell its patients they should stop smoking.
In 2005, ACS awarded a Planned Parenthood clinic a $5,000 grant to "train clinic staff to provide smoking-cessation assistance to patients."
In 2006, ACS donated another $3,000 to Planned Parenthood.
There are other ways that ACS funnels money to Planned Parenthood. My problem with all of this as a Christain woman is I cannot and will not knowingly support abortion in any way. Therefore, I cannot and will not support the American Cancer Society/Relay for Life.
