A woman was arrested on a charge of second-degree assault in connection with stab wounds her husband suffered early Sunday, police said.
Police responded to a disturbance at 1:21 a.m. in the 800 block of East Third Avenue. When they arrived, they found a man wearing a ripped and blood-stained shirt.
Durango Police Department Cpl. Don Cummings said the man was treated for his injuries and released. The wounds apparently were inflicted with a pocket knife.
It was not clear where on his body he was stabbed.
The names of the man and his wife were not released.
Cummings said there were no other witnesses present during the assault.
