National speaker to deliver three speeches about human rights

Jen Smyers, the associate for the Immigration and Refugee Policy of Church World Service, will speak Sunday at these times and places:
b 12-1 p.m. “Immigration from a Spiritual Perspective” in the sanctuary at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Durango, 419 San Juan Drive.
b 1:30-3:30 p.m. “Stand in Solidarity with Immigrants: Your Personalized Plan to Change Immigration Policy,” a workshop in Bowman Hall at the Unitarian Fellowship.
b 3:30-4:30 p.m. “Community Discussion: Why Durango – and the U.S. at Large – Needs Immigration Reform,” at the Durango Community Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave. The conversation will be taped for viewing on Durango Community Access Television.
