Recovery program to hold potluck
Celebrate Recovery, a Christ-centered recovery program, will hold a potluck at 6 p.m. Aug. 30 at Our Place in Grandview in the Elk Park Center, 691 County Road 233, Unit A-8.
Participants are asked to bring a dish to share. Table service and drinks will be provided.
This is an ongoing ministry of First United Methodist Church of Durango. It meets from 6 to 8 p.m. Mondays at the church, 2917 Aspen Drive, offering groups for men and women. Free child care is provided with a reservation.

13-week financial class to begin Tuesday
Financial Peace University, a 13-week class, will begin from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Child care will be provided.

Childrens program to begin Sunday
Christ the King Lutheran Church, 495 Florida Road, will begin its new childrens music and Christian education program at 9:15 a.m. Sunday .
Children pre-kindergarten to fifth grade can join the musical training portion for the next four weeks. The education portion of the program will begin Sept. 12.
The Childrens Choir will perform regularly at the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service at the church.

Revival to be held Aug. 29 to Sept. 1
Victorious Life Fellowship will hold a revival at 7 p.m. from Aug. 29 to Sept. 1 at 2602 Junction St.

Matthews House announces new location
