Colorado ranks 36th in U.S. for amount of college debt

Statewide, borrowers have an average of $26,095 in loans
The average amount of debt for the 2014 graduating class at Fort Lewis College was $19,507, according to The Institute for College Access and Success, a nonprofit that researches higher education institutions.
