Anthony wants to play in New York

For Denver, today, in Nuggets’ game vs. the Knicks
Carmelo Anthony has refused to sign the three-year, $65 million contract extension that has been on the table since last summer and can become a free agent in July. If the Nuggets’ superstar is considering New York, where he was born, lived his first eight years and was married this summer, the Knicks can show him something they couldn’t when they tried to recruit LeBron James – they’re again winning basketball games.
New York fans and media alike are clamoring for Carmelo Anthony to come home and play for the Knicks, and it’s long been speculated that it’s all but a done deal. “Everybody’s got something to say about every situation,” the Nuggets’ superstar said. “My mind is not made up, my mind is just focused on this game (today). That’s really all I’m focused on right now. My mind is not made up, I don’t know where that’s coming from.”
