As part of the latest Western Risk Management Grant, food producers can have their products taste-tested by consumers at the Durango farmers market Sept. 30 at in the parking lot of First National Bank of Durango, 259 W. Ninth St.
Set-up begins at 7:30 a.m.
Tents, tables, sampling supplies and evaluation sheets for taste-testers will be provided. Those who participate are asked to bring ingredient lists and food processed in a commercial kitchen or under the cottage food bill.
Those who participated in the spring cottage food training are encouraged to take the opportunity to get feedback.
