Idaho hopes to bring stargazers to first U.S. dark sky reserve

The Milky Way stretches across the night sky at the foot of the Boulder Mountains in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area in Idaho.
The International Dark Sky Association says the Sawtooth National Recreation Area in Idaho is one of the few places remaining in the contiguous United States large enough and dark enough to become the nation’s first International Dark Sky Reserve.
