The Bayfield Wolverines used some sneaky tactics to lure coach Chris Zoltowski in for an ice-water bath Monday after they earned a trip to the state tournament with a 1-0 win against Crested Butte.
Led by seniors Marcus Isiordia (2), Tilden Berriman (10) and Colton Fine (7), the Bayfield boys’ soccer team races to the fencing surrounding the Wolverine Country Stadium pitch to rejoice with appreciative fans after Monday’s 1-0 win over Crested Butte. The victory assured BHS of postseason inclusion for the first time since a 6-0 home loss to Denver Christian in 2005.
