Colorado Department of Transportation, Colorado Contractors Association and Connect2DOT will hold an information session for area contractors and subcontractors about planned construction work in Southwest Colorado from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 3 at the Durango CDOT Region 5 facility, 20581 U.S. Highway 160.
The event is open to current and prospective contractors and subcontractors interested in doing business with CDOT or other agencies and government entities. CDOT project engineers and representatives from local agencies, including the La Plata-Archuleta Water District, city of Durango, city of Cortez and Cortez Sanitation, will discuss upcoming construction projects that have been planned throughout southwestern Colorado.
“This is a great opportunity for contractors and subcontractors to get a head start on marketing and networking efforts,” Kelly Whaley, CDOT civil rights specialist, said in a news release. “We’ll also have a discussion about CDOT’s Americans with Disabilities Transition Plan, changes to specifications and upcoming projects exclusive to Emerging Small Businesses.”
Lunch will be provided by Connect2DOT.
Registration is required. To register, call or email Kelly Whaley at 385-1405 or firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit http://bit.ly/2xVHK2R.
