Chapman Hill to open for weekend skiing, snowboarding

Ski hill closed Monday-Friday until season starts Dec. 23
After snowmaking created a 12- to 16-inch base, the city of Durango will open Chapman Hill Ski Area from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. Skiers and snowboarders will be able to return to the slope at 500 Florida Road from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Chapman Hill to open for weekend skiing, snowboarding
