50 years ago: About 60 semi-trucks were forced to wait overnight in Cortez until snow was cleared from highways to the south.
25 years ago: A report to Durango Police Department described a man in dark clothes who allegedly ran and jumped into a bush to hide at Brookside Park. Officers reportedly found tracks but not the man.
