Annie’s Orphans spans three decades helping Southwest Colorado’s unwanted animals

Annie Anderson, owner of Annie’s Orphans, gives Annabelle, one of her dogs at the shelter, some love recently at the no-kill shelter south of Durango. Anderson estimates about 30 percent of the dogs at the shelter are lifelong residents because no dogs are euthanized at the shelter.
