Beekeeping club to meet Thursday
The Amateur Beekeeping Club will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday in the meeting room of the Universalist Church, 419 San Juan Drive.
The meeting will begin with a potluck. There will be order sheets for people who would like to participate in a group order for wooden ware, foundation and more. The club will discuss re-queening, planting for bees and other topics.

Colorado tax rebate assistance available
Colorado property tax, rent and heat rebate assistance will be available at 2 p.m. Friday at Valle de Merced Community Building, 800 Goeglein Gulch Road.
Participants will receive help filling out Form 104PTC to receive a rebate from the state on 2010 rent, heating costs, and/or property taxes. Participants need to bring checkbook registers for all of 2010 showing payments for rent, heating and/or property tax; receipts for rent, heating payments and/or property tax paid for people who dont have a checking account; a valid Colorado drivers license or ID; and a calculator.
People who dont have a valid drivers license or ID will need a military ID, a Coast Guard ID, a Tribal Census Number or a waiver. This workshop is free for people with disabilities. All other participants are asked to consider making a $5 or $10 donation.

Life-Long Learning to meet March 17
Life-Long Learning, sponsored by Professional Associates through Fort Lewis College, will present Percussion: An Orchestral Perspective by Jonathan Latta at 7 p.m. March 17 in the Roshong Recital Hall in Jones Hall at Fort Lewis College.
