As a resident of La Plata Canyon, I can attest to the only green mining Wildcat Mining Corp. is interested in is the color of money.
For the last four years, we in the canyon have seen the noninterest of Wildcat Mining in anything remotely connected to protecting the local environment. This has included illegal roads, obliterating wetlands, hazardous waste disposal, trespassing on national forest land and private land, and ignoring state, federal and county regulations.
Wildcat Minings current attempt to dupe the public by saying it will be responsible this time should be concerning. It has said that three times before, and each time it has risen to a new level of non-compliance.
Wildcat Mining is not a green company. If anything, it is a black mark on responsible mining.
