Doctors aim to save fertility of kids with cancer

Doctors are attempting to preserve the fertility of 9-year-old Dylan Hanlon, who is undergoing chemotherapy for Ewing’s sarcoma.
Researchers are preserving stem cells from boys diagnosed with cancer in the hopes they can restore fertility later. Researcher Brian Hermann of the University of Pittsburgh’s Magee-Women’s Research Institute processes a testicular tissue sample.
