The Fort Lewis College Foundation board has a number of new faces.Recently appointed to new three-year terms on the board were Cissy Anderson, Terry Bacon, Alexandra "Andie" Davison, Anne Putnam, Bette Serzen, Steve Short, Doug Sitter and James Youssef. The full board had 35 members last year.
The board is somewhat of a "who's who" of prominent Durangoans. Anderson has been involved in the Professional Associates program at FLC. Bacon is president and chief executive officer of Lore International Institute. Davison has been involved in the arts community. Putnam is a Durango native, a former schoolteacher and past owner of Rainbow Springs Trout Ranch. Serzen has been involved in arts organizations including the San Juan Symphony. Short is president and chief executive officer of First National Bank of Durango. Sitter is co-owner of the Abbey Theatre and Youssef is a spine surgeon.
The foundation raises money for scholarships, programs and facilities at FLC.
