The Rotary Club of Durango will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Strater Hotel, 699 Main Ave.
Shelby Tisdale, director of the Center of Southwest Studies at Fort Lewis College, will give a presentation, titled “Destination Morocco,” about a two-week trip she took in fall 2017.
Tisdale spent the trip shopping in city medina quarters, trekking in the Atlas Mountains, traveling by camel and camping in the Sahara Desert, and she will speak to the club about the history, culture, food and landscapes she encountered.
The meeting is free and open to all.
