Cantera in downtown Durango pays culinary homage to Mexico in a modern way

Macho’s owner opens restaurant and bar in former Lost Dog location
Cantera’s head chef, Yaxkin Andrade, cooks a dish in the restaurant’s kitchen. Andrade hails from Nayarit, Mexico, and brought a couple decades of cooking experience to Cantera, the new Mexican restaurant at 1150 Main Ave.
