When I violate a traffic law, I want to know it immediately. I dont want to be shocked by finding a ticket in my mailbox weeks later with a copy of photos documenting a minor and unintended error that I didnt know I had committed along with a big fine.
This kind of surveillance should be illegal. Ninety-nine percent of us try to obey the laws and follow the rules all the time. If we dont, then we should have the right to be cited on the spot by a police officer who can correct us then and there.
The only thing learned from a video ticket is that its illegal to be human and that I had better be perfect 100 percent of the time.
