YouTube tops teen social media, as Facebook fades

YouTube is dominating social media use for teenagers, as once ubiquitous Facebook fades from popularity, according to a recent survey. A Pew Research Center survey shows that 85 percent of U.S. teens use YouTube, making it the leading social media platform among that age group. It’s followed in use by Instragram and Snapchat at 72 percent and 69 percent, respectively. Facebook use, meanwhile stands at 51 percent among teens.
